Green roofs have been used since the Stone Age, offering fantastic insulation and water retention properties. These environmental qualities are important in these days of climate change, however the aesthetic appeal of softening and blending in necessary structures into the surrounding environment are an important factor in the popularity of green roofs.


Green roofs can be fitted on any structure and can be either intensive roof gardens, which may require maintenance access or simple low maintenance planting schemes, created by a more natural and self-reliant planting scheme.





Our green roofs are spullied pre-grown and fully established and delivered in easily handled modules. Using our team of experienced installers, (who are all landscapers) the creation of your green roof will be an easy and stress free operation.

Although we can add green roofs, to just about any roofs, Garden House Design also offer a full service offering installed summer houses, sheds and garden buildings, both bespoke and pre-made.

Green roof modules can also be supplied as units only to be installed by your own contractor.
